OASIS

Set against the natural backdrop of Mpumalanga, Oasis is a meditation on balance, structure, and sanctuary. The project is composed of cantilevered steel and floating concrete platforms—each element gravitating toward a central space of calm and reflection.

At its core, Oasis redefines the relationship between architecture and landscape. The existing pool is modernized as a sculptural, reflective surface, while the adjacent lounge is extended outward—extruded into the garden to blur the boundaries between indoor comfort and outdoor immersion.

The composition invites movement and pause, creating a layered sequence of experiences. It is a place of retreat, suspended between structure and serenity.
